I have used this Lincoln welder at a friend's house and it works great, but before I spent the money on one for myself I saw a Seesii 120V flux core MIG welder on a SlickDeals Amazon sale a few months ago for an unbelieveably low price of $62 which I laughed at but still bought to try it on the off chance it was any good since if it wasn't I could just return it for free, but it actually worked well enough for me to keep it! I also "upgraded" to a Duratech 120V flux core MIG welder 2 weeks after that which was also on sale on Amazon for only $70 because the Seesii welder can only fit 2lb spools of flux core MIG wire in it which are between 2x-3x more expensive per pound than what 10lb spools cost, and the Duratech can use 10lb spools so that is the best deal since it welds sufficiently well too. I also got a $39.99 auto darkening welding mask on sale from Harbor Freight with $8 Vulcan welding gloves, a $4 welding//chipping hammer, $2 wire brushes, then on Amazon I got a 10lb spool of YesWelder E71T-11 .030" flux core MIG wire for $39.99 (normal price) so my total cost which includes BOTH welders was only $225.98! Obviously the Lincoln welds a little smoother and more evenly with a little less spatter for most tests I did, but there isn't a huge difference and both my cheap-o welders produce a good enough bead with pretty good penetration to pass the bend strength test when I tried inside corner welds, outside corner welds on a few different pieces of steel plate ranging from 1/20" thick to 1/4" thick, and they can also do multipass butt welds to fill in larger gaps on up to 1/4" mild steel plates with very little porosity. The LIncoln also produces a little porosity when doing similar multipass welds so their performance was about equal in that test but neither caused the weld to break when bending them. I just noticed a few small pinholes when griding through the big butt welds to inspect each machine's beads. I think that was more of an issue of flux core welding properties in general which produces more chance of porosity than gas MIG welding does, and I'm not a pro welder so maybe I could have tweaked the settings on both machines a little more to produce zero porosity.
