Winter safety gloves are personal protective equipment (PPE) engineered to keep hands warm and dry while shielding workers from job site hazards in cold conditions.
Unlike standard fashion or casual winter gloves, winter safety gloves combine thermal insulation with certified physical protections such as cut resistance, abrasion defense, impact absorption, and oil- and water-resistant grip coatings.
Key Features and Testing Standards
Thermal Insulation: Inner linings typically use materials like acrylic terry, fleece, or 3M Thinsulate to trap body heat without causing excessive bulk.
Weather Barriers: A windproof and waterproof membrane prevents rain, melted snow, and icy drafts from reaching your skin.
Grip Coatings: Outer palms are commonly coated in latex, nitrile, or polyurethane to maintain flexibility and traction on frozen or wet tools.
Cold Resistance Standard (EN 511): Rates gloves across three metrics: convective cold (resistance to cold air, 0–4), contact cold (resistance to cold surfaces, 0–4), and water permeability (0 for leak, 1 for waterproof).
Mechanical Protection (ANSI/ISEA 105 & EN 388): Standardized scores that measure cut, puncture, tear, and abrasion resistance.

Good-looking gloves. Never heard of this brand. Probably good enough for the truck glove box.

$10 shipping for me.

Thanks OP

We use these in industrial construction. Pretty warm if it's the same exact ones, but forget about doing anything with fingers, you may as well have mittens on.
