The 77 inch LG C6H is being discussed as an OLED with strong picture quality and the usual deep blacks, but the main focus is on panel behavior and setup. Side by side viewing puts it close to Samsung OLEDs for image quality, while reflection handling appears weaker. The bigger concern is reported panel uniformity, including vertical banding, crushed blacks, brown test screens, and a green tint in the lower right. Updating the TV, checking OLED care settings, and letting pixel maintenance run off can improve issues over time, making it a careful pick for buyers who want to inspect the panel first.

It is. I bought a Samsung s90F for 1100 no tax but was DOA and the refund process took 2 weeks.

I watched this and a Samsung S90H 77" side-by-side in a Costco. The picture qualities are quite comparable, but the S90H is so much better in reflection handling. I'll go for a 77" of S95H, S90H or G6.

Starting 11/16 the 77" S90H will be $1900+tax from Costco, with the bonus 3 years Allstate "protection". Currently my target

You could probably make an offer below this too, right?

Generally when they post the price, they made a lower offer and this was the counter offer. Could be wrong.

Buyers be aware (THIS IS NOT A C6 MODEL) This is the C6H model tandem OLED where people have reported screen issues. C6 which has the woled panel is only limited to the 65" TV produced by LG. Do some research on the C6H before purchase

I think this is accurate when a retailer is offering a very low price they just keep it up to buy now for awhile sometimes it does not last very long

Are you new to Slickdeals. Greentoe deals for TV in this site have been going on for years. They are more of a middleman between buyers and sellers and try to get in good price for TVs. actual retailer could be someone else like BuyDig etc. Actual store is Authorized and any issues would have been to be routed to them.

https://slickdeals.net/search?q=greentoe&searcharea=deals&searchin=first&isUserSearch=1&searchtype=normal&filters%5Bforum%5D%5B%5D=0&sort=relevance&filters%5Brating%5D%5B%5D=all&filters%5Bdate%5D%5B%5D=1095

Look at how many pages of their deals are in this site.

The c6h is better than the c6, whatever problems people are having will either get fixed (update) or have not broken in the tv yet allowed its pixels to refresh a few times. I've had 4 oleds, from crushed blacks to ridiculous banding all 4 of them cleared it up after a few days to a week of use. The LG C1 and B3 it was crushed blacks with very minor vertical banding. The s85f and Bravia 8 in particular had vertical banding so bad I was considering returning the tv but a few days later allowing them to do their pixel maintenance stuff while the tv is off fixed the problem everytime.

Hey if I may ask a question about C6H. I'm a new owner of a C6H. It will arrive in a few days. What do you suggest I should do to break in the tv other than normal infrequent use, which how I will use it?

I'd cautiously stay away from the 77" c6h due to lots of reported color uniformity issues and brown screens in color test shows up mostly white and lots of green tint ont he lower right side of the screen. Check the LG OLED subreddit.

Strange coincidence, I got my 77" C2 from Greentoe 4 years ago and it had vertical banding issues out of the box. I ran a pixel refresh ONCE and it fixed it instantly.

You should have seen the responses I got on reddit. "Oh no it's broken, return it, return it bro, all the pixel refresh did was lower the brightness on all the OTHER pixels to match the lowered brightness on the vertical bands, you're an idiot if you don't return it" etc. Four years later, still perfect. And I use it as a PC monitor most of the time, probably ~14h a day as I work from home and watch 99% of my streaming content over the PC. Zero burn in.
