Keep your filament in individual airtight boxes, possibly with dissecant bags.
Every so often put them in a dehydrator/oven at very low heat (google that)

I am able to get the X4 (higher end model) for around $123.72 after the discount. This is the best price I can find anywhere. I know it's about $50 more than the X4L model but I think the added functions are well worth the additional cost IMHO.

Really!? How do you know? The produce page says NEW. I noticed they have other posts for refurbished units, but that's not the same as the one posting here. I guess I will find out when I receive my unit and post back to confirm.
