It was the extreme version. Last November, after the $200 back from PayPal, I paid ~$475 for an open box excellent from Best Buy. Arrived looking brand new.

That's an awesome deal. I got 2 steam decks and a gaming pc so I'm still holding out for the Ai crash.

Good luck. And while you wait, it has done nothing but gone up.

Mine too. Looked brand new but missing charger. They said to return and rebuy. I passed on that and kept it...cherry.
As for poster that got 200 off via paypal, that had to be earned on a different purchase of over 1k...

What goes up must eventually come down. Ai is already crashing in China.

It's already crashing here too. Nvidia's triangle shaped business model, and circular financials can only prop it up for so long. First CoreWeave, then Oracle, then SoftBank, all the King's men won't be able to put those dumpties back together again. That OpenAI IPO is going to be the first trainwreck of '27.

Chinese AI crash is driven by US trade restrictions, not poor performance or demand. Also their AI bubble isn't as big as in the US. It wasn't the primary mover of their GDP growth

If you're going to spend $1k on a handle you might as well get the the one with the best chip, Intel Arc G3, Acer Predator Atlas, for an extra $300 more. Its a no brainer which one is a better deal.

I got mine with the open box deal last year. Been using it mostly for diablo iv and some RoboCop. It's good but I don't think it's $900 good. If it's going to be your main gaming device, invest a bit more. If just a laptop alternative for on the go, it's good but battery life stinks if you push the graphics a bit.
