Better deal at Nikon with their trade in event. Same price, but get an additional $200 off with trade in of any lens. So find an old 50mm 1.8G and get $100 for trade in and then a bonus $200. https://www.nikonusa.com/trade-in
I rented this and the cheaper F4 14-30mm at the same time to test which I would buy if I ever need to buy one. Personally I'd go with the cheaper one, it's still really good. I'd only get the F2.8 one if I was doing a lot of paid work and needed the F2.8 for it's low-light capability.
I was doing a some real-estate photography and found the F4 14-30mm more than adequate for that sort of shoot. I'd use it for landscapes to, but I usually prefer my 24-70mm for landscapes.
