Because RRTFV is a generic alphabetic brand name typical of drop-shipped items on Amazon, there are no prominent dedicated reviews under that exact label. [1]
However, this device is physically identical to the widely reviewed "4K Retro Game Stick Lite" or "GD10" hardware templates. Independent tech reviewers and community consensus across platforms like YouTube and Reddit highlight several consistent realities for these types of wireless HDMI stick emulators: [1, 2]
The Pros: What Reviewers Like
  • Incredible Game Variety: Reviewers confirm these sticks genuinely come packed with thousands of games. Having iconic NES, Sega, and Atari libraries instantly playable via a simple plug-and-play setup is highly praised. [1, 2]
  • Great for 8-bit & 16-bit Classics: For older, less demanding systems (like NES, SNES, and Genesis), the emulation runs smoothly and looks clean on modern TVs. [1, 2]
The Cons: Common Complaints
  • Poor PlayStation 1 (PS1) Performance: While advertised to play PS1 games, reviewers note that the low-end chipsets in these budget sticks frequently struggle with 3D titles. You will likely experience audio stuttering, dropped frames, or lag on PlayStation games. [1, 2]
  • Controller Quality & Input Lag: The included 2.4G wireless gamepads are often criticized for feeling very cheap, plastic-heavy, and lightweight. Many users note noticeable input delay (lag between pressing a button and the action happening on screen), which can frustrate fast-paced platformers or fighting games. [1, 2]
  • Messy UI and Clones: The game menus can be cumbersome to navigate, and the "26,000 games" claim includes hundreds of duplicate titles, Japanese or European regional variants, and broken ROM hacks.

Community Verdict
If you want a low-cost novelty gift to casually revisit 8-bit arcade classics, it is a fun option. If you expect to play smooth, high-fidelity PS1 games with responsive controls, you may find the performance lacking. [1, 2]

I'd sooner get an onn box for $50 and get the retroarch app....take a 16gb flash drive with all the roms of old school games (psx/n64 might not run good and anything after) and use file explorer to copy the flash drive to internal memory of the onn box.

Or just get a retropie.....
