You've got to be part of the Samsung Discount Program, and from what I tried (I work for a school) that's not easy Frown

If you work at a school (college / uni) you should have an EDU email. That's all they need to sign up. If you don't then there are steps detailed online on how to get a free edu email.

1080p across 32 inches is about 69 PPI, which is what decides text sharpness; the 27-inch version works out to about 82.

I got the 32" for $50 with a laptop purchase and I regret even spending that much. The 32 is a VA panel and crappy one at that.

There was a recent update:

Settings > General (or Connection on newer models) > Apple AirPlay Settings and toggle AirPlay to On.

1080p…? This shouldn't even exist today. What's next, 8 tracks back on sale?

The 27" model is a good buy if you want that size, and want a monitor that doubles as a TV. (I have one in my guest bedroom that pulls double duty as an occasional work from home office and a nice amenity for guests.)

But the pixel density of 1080p at 32" isn't great. It's fine for a TV you're watching at least a few feet away, but for a monitor you're sitting right in front of, it's usable, but you'll notice it. I'd only consider it if you're primarily planning to use it as a TV. And even then, you can often find 32" 1080p TVs for less than this.
