Is this an ad or a deal? I understand they can be both on this site but this appears to be neither.

Don't we usually consider $10 an ah a decent price, this is $200 for 16ah but these larger batteries, especially the edge version cost more anyway right? Perhaps this is verging into deal territory?

I have a few ryobi batteries and they are pretty defective, don't know if I'm willing to put $100 for 1 battery, rather get a few smaller ones.
For what its worth. I no joke registered two ryobi 18v batteries that i've had since 2019. The serials are from 2019. On the website if you register makes the warranty new. I sent them both in a month ago and they are getting replaced even though I've had them for 5+ years. I didnt even have to upload a receipt. I got a shipping confirmation email from ryobi for both batteries and I'm just waiting on the replacements now.

Pretty reasonable deal, the 4ah edge is 100 bucks, so an 8ah for the price of a 4ah feels like a deal to me. Not a MASSIVE deal but still, pretty good deal. The edge batteries are expensive, and really do change the performance of the tool. It being a pair makes it feel like less of a deal, if it was 1x 8ah for 100 I would def be grabbing one.

Would prefer the Ryobi 12Ah battery 2-pack for $157, but currently OOS.
