Lowe's is probably kicking themselves for not having a competing bucket with their logo available for $0.87.

This 2 gallon bucket is a handy small size for everyday chores, especially when a 5 gallon bucket is overkill. It fits car washes, mixing small batches of thinset, plumbing work under the sink, bird food, and aquarium water changes for smaller tanks. The orange logo is only on one side and can be covered easily. The main drawback is that the deal price was brief and the bucket is still just a basic small bucket, not a mini one.

Common Questions (4)

  • It works well as a general-purpose small bucket for tasks like car washing, mixing smaller amounts of thinset, bird food, under-sink plumbing work, aquarium water changes, and other around-the-house jobs. The 2-gallon size is useful when a 5-gallon bucket is too large.

  • It is the full 2-gallon size, not one of the mini versions. That makes it noticeably more useful for small jobs and storage than the tiny novelty buckets.

  • The 88-cent price was available for the deal, but one comment notes it was already gone later. A previous $1.88 price is also mentioned, so availability can change quickly.

  • Yes. The logo is only on one side and can be covered easily with black gaffer's tape or a decorative cling if you want a plain look.

I was going to say too bad it doesn't drill well for use as plant pot with drainage, but the 88 cent price is gone anyway.

The logo is on one side only and is easily covered up. Black gaffers tape works well; I have a little pumpkin cling my son decorated at school that I'll paste over the logo.

This is good just for a general use bucket. Sometimes you don't always need a 5 gallon bucket and this should do well I'm going to pick me up a couple
i take it that it's not food grade safe?

My Home Depot tore all their Halloween down a week ago. All those 10ft animated decorations gone. Like 10 days before Halloween. Weird.

This plus a couple of plastic grocery bags equals a 2 gal trash can for my garage and for picking up dog poop.

In for a few. 👍

They are not food safe grade! Don't use them for the food that will go in your system.
