This 2 gallon Halloween bucket is a handy small utility bucket, especially for jobs where a 5 gallon pail is overkill. It fits car washes, small thinset mixes, under sink plumbing work, aquarium water changes, garage trash, dog poop pickup, and even bird food or fig cuttings. The orange logo is only on one side and can be covered easily. The main caution is durability and food safety, since cracks at the bottom were reported and it is not food safe for edible use.

  • The 2-gallon size works well for smaller tasks without needing a 5-gallon bucket.

  • The bucket can be repurposed for practical jobs like car washing, mixing smaller thinset amounts, and plumbing catch work.

  • The bucket's size fits under the sink during faucet or plumbing work and can also serve as a small garage trash can with bags.

  • The logo is only on one side and can be covered with tape or a decorative cling for easier reuse.

  • Some buckets reportedly develop cracks on the bottom, including center-bottom cracking, which can reduce durability.

  • The bucket is not food-safe grade, so it should not be used for food intended to be ingested.

  • The bucket may not drill well for use as a plant pot with drainage, which can limit certain repurposing plans.

  • Some buckets reportedly shrink and develop holes on the bottom, raising concerns for repeated or heavy use.

They are not food safe grade! Don't use them for the food that will go in your system.
Can I line them with something?

Lowe's is probably kicking themselves for not having a competing bucket with their logo available for $0.87.

Speaking of lowes buckets, all of mine got cracks on the bottom, does anyone else have this issue? I got 20 home depot buckets and maybe 10 lowes buckets and all my lowes buckets shrunk and have holes on the bottom.

Better price for a bucket than the dollar stores. It's cute. I'd bought one at full price when thet came out because I needed a bucket. Took it back today for a refund and got two at the new price. They are very handy to have around

Same. They crack at center bottom. I don't ever purchase Lowes buckets anymore.
