This refurbished Dell OptiPlex 7090 UFF stands out for its unusually strong specs at the price, with an i5 1145G7, 32GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD. The UFF design is meant to mount on the back of Dell monitors, and the multiple USB ports and power delivery support make it flexible for a compact setup or homelab use. The main tradeoffs are that the CPU is soldered and laptop class, so upgrade headroom and raw performance are limited. The refurb SSD and other replacement parts also draw caution, so it is best suited to buyers who value the form factor and memory over future proofing.

Minipcs in this price range will have much worse specs overall. You may find one with a better cpu, but it'll be barebones so it can't really compare

These were designed to fit on the back of Dell monitors to create an all-in-one, hence the unique shape

It would have to be. I have never seen a major retailer/newegg (other than best buy open box) provide a laptop or desktop without the power supply or cords. Either way, easy returns until next Jan via Walmart.com or in-store.

Great specs for the price. The CPU is a laptop CPU so this is not a powerhouse but for the price now you can't get better specs than this. Just be sure the form factor works for you.

Is this any good for light Fusion 360 and heavy 3d printing?

It's basically a laptop without the screen. You can get a similarly specced laptop for about the same price.

Seems like the SSD quality (and maybe other things) are very low quality and may die quickly: https://www.reddit.com/r/sysadmin...r_quality/

Looks like a gateway drug device for getting into homelabbing. Pretty sweet deal.
