Why is the thumb down? I bought one for $7.79. Would buy two, but the twofer price was $16.99. So, one will do for now.

Before someone says, "it's Chinese junk", it may be. However, if and when it works, it can produce at least 600 lumens brightness. I'm under no illusion that it can produce 1,000 lumens. It can't, but even 600lm is very bright. I have rechargeable NiMH AA batteries to use in it. They work better than alkaline batteries, and they won't leak. (I will take the batteries out to charge and inspect them anyway.)
