This PowerSpec prebuilt stands out as a near self-build price for a Ryzen 5 7500X3D and RX 9070 XT system, with 32GB DDR5, a 1TB SSD, and standard parts that are easier to upgrade or reuse later. The bundled pricing looks especially strong because the CPU and motherboard combo alone is much cheaper than piecing together the same class of parts, and Micro Center support is local if anything needs fixing. The main knocks are the oversized white case and the noisy cooling setup, since the included fans run at full speed and the front mesh can create turbulence. It is a solid value if the size and acoustics do not matter much.

That's actually pretty decent, with the 32gb and 9070XT.

Decent deal for a pre-built. RAM, CPU, and mobo would run you about ~$400, the 9070 XT would be $850+, no details on the nvme but assume inland or team group mp33 which is ~ $150, another $80 or so for an entry level 850w PSU. Plus case and windows gets you in the ballpark of what you would've spent to build it yourself.

EDIT: as pointed out, the bundle for $400 would be only 16gb of ddr5, a more comparable bundle with 32gb would be $500

For the parts you are looking anywhere from $2,000-$2300 depending on which model 9070xt they use. The specs list GDDR7 and the only one I see they carry with that is the Powercolor hellhound which is 1149.99 currently. The rest are GDDR6, so maybe as low as $900 if that is a misprint. You are saving prebuilt over the parts alone. If you are ok with the quality of the parts they add, then it's a good deal (not great)

399.99 7500x3d CPU/Mobo/16GB DDR5
269.99 Extra 16GB DDR5 (same as in combo above)
1149.99 9070 XT - If it is the Powercolor hellhound. Otherwise $899.99+
169.99 1tb NVME (inland cheapest one they have)
41 Case
135 Windows 11 Home OEM
30 CPU Cooler
65 850w power supply (cheapest I see)
2260.96 Total

EDIT: GDDR7 in Microcenter's specs aren't correct. All 9070 xt have GDDR6

True, but time is money. I'd rather buy it assembled than put it together myself.

Yeah that's why I said it's a decent deal because it gets you in the ballpark. As for time spent though, it's honestly not that much if you're familiar with the process. I just built one and it was about 2 hours total from start to finish. I probably could've finished faster but I took my time because it's a fun hobby and making things look clean and cool is part of fun.

Having built pcs and upgraded pcs i dont hate prebuilts at all now.

I bought a prebuilt for the wife in our workshop last year. Its been great and was a decent price.

I dont hate this configuration at all I would get this for myself! If this was a 9800X3d this would be a juicy deal but all in all I like it.
Im not keen on the white but only because of where this would go and unfortunately we do get alot of dust(workshop) I can see this showing up on the white frame. After my first prebuilt I dont think I will ever go back to building. I think Walmart has a similar configuration but with 9800x3d but its 2100.00

I dont know the difference in performance in cpus if its worth 300 dollars more for the 9800.
Maybe 50% more performance i guess it would be different game to game.

I just noticed this was a 7500 dont know anything about that chip. maybe get the 9800X3d for 300 more.

Not sure when you last checked ram pricing but a 32gb ram kit alone is almost 500 dollars these days, if you buy a bundle at micro center you can get a better deal though.

Uh yeah, this deal is literally from microcenter. If you are considering driving to microcenter to buy this pre-built, you are also capable of buying their bundles instead. An apples to apples comparison would be using their own component prices, not another stores.

EDIT: as pointed out, the bundle for $400 would be only 16gb of ddr5, a more comparable bundle with 32gb would be $500

Take a look at the side view to see how comically huge the case is.

This is something that should have been built in something like a Z20.

You are not going to game in 4K with this machine. The G764 ? Sure. But that is listed at 2399 now...it was 2000 a few days ago...
