Yep, I've noticed after I posted that it's a Google-wide sale. I think the phones and watches are on sale at all major retailers.

Usually, eBay gets a relatively higher cashback from cashback websites compared to other retailers, including Best Buy itself. Some of the sites send you targeted emails after you browse eBay using their extensions. I currently have 13% from one of them. So, I think it's worth looking at those options and considering eBay to make your purchase.

Highly recommend getting the 45mm LTE and buying it from Google directly so you get the 2 years of data included. If you have Google fi that also comes with free watch data. I went from the smaller 2 to the 45mm 5 and I'm loving it. I've always had the lte version because I like to leave my phone in the car when I'm doing runs or at the amusement park. I can do everything with my watch except take pictures, maybe one day 🤞

Just to clarify for anyone reading, you get the 2 years of data included even if you purchase from Best Buy on eBay, as it says in the description. You can try messaging the seller (Best Buy) in case you want further confirmation.

If eBay provides no external benefit to you (like cashback), then I'm sure Google store is the better option. If you have Google One, you also get 10% cashback as store credits on Google store.

Best Buy has an open box excellent 41mm for $229 but it's the wifi version. Is the LTE worth the extra price. Only really going to use it for sleep tracking and walking distance and step. Was thinking of just going with new google watch for $179

I want to confirm that I got the 45mm LTE version from BB store on Oct 24th, and I have LTE for text, music, searches, Gemini, maps.

Except VOICE calls, that goes through Bluetooth from my phone. I have T-mobile, and could have sub to their watch plan and have calls without needing my phones, but that is like 20 bucks a month.. that's an extra 480$ for two years...Going to hae BB refund the differences since I paid full price.
