I prefer the Home Depot deal with the bigger battery without extra blades for the same price.

Interesting... DCS356 w/ 3 speeds is (was?) an XR, I wonder if they're removing the XR badge from this tool like they've done to many others recently. 🤔

Yes. The version the ends in M1 at Home Depot with the 4ah is same tool with XR label off only. That's according to the info I could find anyway.

Not sure if your right or wrong but I just learned yesterday that dewalt has versions of tools that are the same as XR but for some reason they removed the XR branding from body of tool.

No, this has been an XR tool for a long time. Atomic doesn't have a speed selector, they're just starting to remove XR labeling from DCS356.

Link goes to Max, not XR, at least for me. Both are the same price right now (or were a week ago), XR is the better tool. XR comes with fewer attachments and the same Max battery.

Got this. The tools says XR for me. Not on the box, but on the tool itself.

Anyone know how the "cut" guide works? I understand how to use it as a "depth" guide, but not a "cut" (straight line) guide.
