Is it still receiving software updates, does it work on 5g, does it have an established EOL date? Yes it's an older release, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's bad, right?

Looks like new updates end December 2026 and security updates sometime in 2027.

I had this watch for over a year before upgrading to the Ultra2. I loved that watch. The battery is great. I think they then downgraded the battery on the later ones like the 6 and so on. The battery sucked until the Ultra2.

Actually has a bezel with a raised rim. Only watch I haven't broke the edge of the screen. Other than that, It tell time, doesn't really do much. You can answer calls, but it's not ideal.

I've been using a refurbished one since 2024 almost daily. Aside from some weird software hick ups here and there and somewhat annoying startup time, it's been a great watch. It's a chungus of a watch but you get probably some of the longest battery life around. I can't speak for purely cellular use though. I don't think many mvno's support it.
