The Xbox Series X all digital is the stronger pick for players who want the full Series X performance without a disc drive, and the current price is described as about 20 percent off the usual $749. It still supports digital libraries and can fit a second setup like a vacation home, while the all digital design keeps the console simple. The main drawback is the missing disc drive, which makes disc to digital use impossible, and the expansion drives are called expensive. Coupon stacking also appears unreliable because Xbox hardware exclusions have shown up in fine print.
The current price is described as about 20% off the usual $749 level.
The console can be purchased for a much lower effective cost by stacking Target gift cards with a 15% employee discount.
The all-digital setup can still be useful for playing existing games at a vacation home.
The all-digital model is framed as a strong option compared with a prior holiday deal that included a disc and bundled game.
The lack of a disc drive makes the purchase feel not worthwhile for buyers who want disc-to-digital flexibility.
The all-digital price is viewed as too high compared with earlier purchase prices around $340 or $499.
Expansion storage options are described as expensive and may not work with a future Xbox platform update.
Coupon fine print may exclude Xbox hardware, and a 5% birthday coupon reportedly did not discount the console.

Dev mode is pretty cool but they currently locked it at 5gb ram which limits it.
edit: the veterans 10-20% coupon is nearly here for Target and it worked on the console last time i tried and it also stacked with the wedding/baby registry but YMMV.
edit2: last discount i pre-ordered gta6 for $61 and 2 days later they said it would be a code in the case.
