This is a good deal. I purchased in June for $105. Works well and gets a close smooth shave. Highly recommended!

I have this. Its ok. Still does NOT shave close like a razor. Paperweight these days.

A foil is the best option for closeness. Specifically Babyliss. Link provided.
Literally shaves like a razor with NO stubble on my head.
I use the babyliss daily and wash out with water after each use.

These are really good. I've used pitbull, freebirds, other random ones and this one is by far the best. Does it get as close as a razor? Of course not. But if you just need to be cleaned up its perfect for maintaining and keeping everything tidy. 10/10.

I've had it for a year and love it. This is a great deal as it comes with additional blades that alone cost 35$. I'll order this as a backup since the blades alone are more expensive

The cheaper Remington worked better for me. It's not as quiet as the Philips, but it has a more powerful motor, can handle longer growth, shaves closer, and shaves faster. The philips wins in quietness and being a tad more gentle.

Solid find OP. Just inside my return window from the previous front page deal.. Amazon was kind enough to credit me most of the difference to keep from initiating a return. Thank you 🙏🏽

We do not need more skin heads. We need more acceptance and tolerance of different peoples and cultures. Thumbs down.
TF? You know you can shave your face, right? Also, not everyone bald is a skinhead or a racist.

I tried the FX3 foil first and found it too difficult to use on my own (whole) head. I'd spend so much time only to miss spots and I didn't get irritated but I'd definitely have to put more force than I'd like and make many passes. I've been wet shaving since since I found that easier but I am going to jump on this deal because I have been looking for a "weekday" shaver rather than letting it get long and shaving on the weekends.

PS For the foil I had good luck using the Blocmen powder on my head before shaving in case you haven't tried it.

will this work for cleaning up stray hairs on the face and to clean up my beard (neck line)? or is it too big for that?

I don't think this would work for that. I use a barber's edger/trimmer, especially for lining up the beard. The more precise ones cut pretty close, but not shaving close.
