The Creality Falcon T1 with the UV laser module for glass and internal crystal engraving is currently available for $3,599.10 at the official Creality Falcon store when using the code CFFAM from their Facebook page at checkout. The code also works for the diode and fiber laser variants, which cost less but serve different purposes.

The T1 with the UV module also includes a free 4-pack of K9 crystal blocks and the field lens needed for the other modules (normally $235.99 combined). Both items are added automatically to the cart at checkout.

I recently got my T1 with the UV module and also have the 20W fiber module. The UV module's most interesting feature is 3D subsurface laser engraving, which creates 3D objects and images inside solid crystal. You've probably seen those crystal blocks with portraits floating inside them. The second picture is not a product photo, but one of my own. It shows my first attempt: a tiny Statue of Liberty engraved inside a crystal pendant that can also be used as a keychain. This was the first thing I made with it.

You can use 3D scans, AI-generated models for example 3D portraits of people or pets or any STL file from 3D printing sites to create designs.

The T1's main advantage is its five interchangeable laser modules. The UV handles crystal and fine-detail engraving, as well as surface engraving on glass, other transparent materials, and certain plastics. Fiber handles metals, diode cuts and engraves wood and similar materials, and MOPA adds advanced metal marking like more intense color effects but is the same wavelength as the fiber. You can get additional modules later instead of needing separate machines.
At this price, it's probably more interesting if you're planning to sell personalized items, especially with Christmas coming up, than for occasional home use though, but it's the same with all UV lasers so far.

If anyone has questions about the T1 or the UV version in particular, feel free to ask since I already have one.

Key specs:
  • 5 laser options: 5W UV, 20W Fiber, 20W/40W Diode, 60W MOPA
  • Up to 10,000 mm/s engraving speed
  • 175 x 175 mm engraving area
  • 70 x 70 mm internal crystal engraving area
  • 20 MP positioning camera and autofocus
  • Enclosed Class 1 design under specified operating conditions
  • Optional rotary and conveyor accessories
