Is the the one that actually works with regular generators? Or is this a no go like the original eg4 yellow one?

IDK. I usually try a bunch to see which one(s) work.

Does anyone know if this can be used to charge a power station over DC while using the power station's inverter to run microwave or RV Air Conditioner over 30 amp AC, without damaging the power station? Reason for doing this would be if only have standard 20 amp wall outlet access, not 30 amp, and power station UPS generally can only goes as high as the input. Thanks in advance!

I'm confused about these chargers - are they meant only for Backup Generators to charge 48V batteries? Can you just plug this into a normal 110V wallet outlet to charge the batteries. AI said yes for the 60A version - but it would be limited to just 30A. For the larger model - the 100A it said no due to most wall outlets are only 15 A.
Any help?

Not sure what you mean by "power station" but it can connect directly to battery while battery also can be connected to load (inverter) inverter draws energy from both battery and charger. If there is no load all charger's power goes to battery. At least that's how my chargeverter (similar product from EG4) is setup and working well.

It works both ways - if inverter gets solar power it can join the charger in charging battery. Power flow balancing is seamless and automatic.

You can use normal 110V outlet to charge. Need to make sure to set the charger not to draw more current than your outlet supports (i.e. regular outlet is 110V * 15A = 1650W, which would correspond to 33A at 50V. Add room for losses and set charger to about 28A dc output.

This looks like good deal - ordered one, even though just yesterday I ordered used charger for $200 from old communication equipment that I still need to hack. This one should work without any hacks. I have eg4's chargeverter that I paid more than $500 (100A version).

I think they are mostly intended for 240 generators. but I have the 100amp, perhaps this one has different applications being smaller. mine could plug to any 30a 4 prong outlet or you can put any plug on it you choose or hard wire it as it comes bare ends and they give you a plug out of the box. the 100a is great. guessing this one may be as well. lot cheaper for this one for sure

So I bought the 100A specifically for attaching it to my future Solar charger/inverter + Eco 48V Battery bank. I also bought the 60 A to charge the 48V batteries offline. I'm still in process of my build out so still learning.
