Kirkland Signature grass fed butter is a salted, creamy butter that melts well and comes in at a strong warehouse price. The current version is labeled product of Ireland and has a milder salt level than Kerrygold, with a grassy, slightly cheesy flavor and a new package shape without tablespoon markings. The salt makes it less ideal for ghee or unsalted recipes, and it is not as bold as Kerrygold. A solid everyday butter if you want good texture and value.
Home cooks making rice, soups, or stews, because the salted butter melts smoothly and adds flavor to savory dishes.
Shoppers who want a milder salted butter, because it is less salty than Kerrygold while staying creamy.
Butter buyers who prefer a grassy, cheesy flavor profile, because this butter has that taste and a creamy finish.
Frequent butter users who want a solid everyday buy, because it is described as really good and a great deal at this price.
People making ghee or bulletproof coffee, because the butter is salted and salt can settle, creating extra waste.
Shoppers chasing Kerrygold's stronger flavor bomb, because this butter is milder and less salty.
Cooks who need unsalted butter for baking or fat-based drinks, because this version is salted.

I like organic valley a lot but they are expensive and Costco doesn't sell them.

All butter at my Costco is salted. It is mind-blowing. Is it that hard to add salt if you need it in a recipe? Next will be salted olive oil…
