I can't imagine anyone is dropping this kind of money on a camera they don't already very much know about-- but I can say that I have and love this camera; it does everything I need it to do exceptionally well, and it gives me a ton of room to grow my photography skills. I know it's odd to say at this price point, but this is a high-value camera as far as high-end cameras go.

45MP Z70 announcement incoming, and might attract some wildlife photographers looking at a Z8.

While 45MP would be amazing, far more likely to be 24. Other than that, I'm expecting the Z70 to be a banger

For $35 more, I would consider this Z8 bundle at Adorama mainly because it includes a 128Gb CF 4.0 card, case, extra battery. Also get 5% savings if applying for or using their credit line (Synchrony.)
