With coupon code $35 is the lowest price seen so far. It's slimmer and lighter than others with usb-c 45W charging via cable and 25W wireless for capable phones. Supposed to be the fastest for wireless charging an iPhone with the least amount of heat (max 97F). Warranty is 2 years. Will post back if that's not the real world case.

With all the recent deals on power banks, especially wireless ones, aside from a possible inflated price to normal, I wish there was a way to know which ones are good price + quality.

OP, not saying this was inflated and reduced, I just not know.

LISEN apparently struggles with being hot.
Baseus has faced multiple official product recalls and fire hazards.

What's the gold standard?

BTW, no hate for OP of this deal, or Baseus, or LISEN.

I'm only asking because I not want a $ deal and then heat, quality, and fire hazard issues.

Wrong.
Android devices (Samsung, Google, etc.) support wired USB-C charging only; magnetic attachment and 15W/25W wireless speeds not supported

Why wouldn't I just go out and buy a much cheaper USB-C charger?

Because all it takes is a magnetic case or adapter ring and a phone that supports wireless charging. Most flagship android devices support 15 watt wireless charging and have for several years. Some of the newer models like the s26 ultra, pixel 10/11 xl pro and a few others support 25 watt fast charging. I have a magsafe case and oh snap magsafe grip on the 26 ultra in my hand right now. Android users have been using magsafe accessories since magsafe became a thing.

Ok than why does it say in the description Alloy Wireless Battery Pack for iPhone 18 Pro Max/17/16/15/14/13/12 Only Also when I ask if this will charge my Google Pixel 11 Pro with a google snap case I get this:

No, the Baseus Picogo AM52 is not compatible with Google Snap cases — at least not for wireless charging. Here's why:

The product page states: "Not compatible with non-MagSafe cases, as they may cause overheating."

Google Snap is a different magnetic standard from MagSafe, so the power bank won't magnetically attach or charge wirelessly through a Google Snap case. However, it will work with wired USB-C charging through the built-in cable regardless of your case.

The product page explicitly states: "Not compatible with non-MagSafe cases, as they may cause overheating." Google Snap and Google Mag Snap are not MagSafe standards — this power bank is designed exclusively for MagSafe-compatible iPhones (iPhone 12 and newer).

No, the Baseus Picogo AM52 is not compatible with Google MagSafe cases for wireless charging on Google phones.

So I guess I'm confused .

Qi2.2, this is faster, 25w, charging on newerish devices, with active cooling which Baseus does not do.

There's not a great gold standard out right now. QI2.2 is fairly new and with power banks generate more heat. The difference is enough where the same tech that cooled 15w power banks isn't enough for 25w ones.

Using the passive cooling tech that 15w power banks used means 25w ones have to also incorporate thermal throttling which would mean lowering charging speeds as Powerbank got too hot.

So right now there's active cooling, think like a fan. Active cooling cools the powerbank faster than it generates heat. So you can keep that 25w speed. Problem is, this means more moving parts and easier to break so more fragile than the passive cooling power banks.

Look, if you don't want to buy it or try it, don't. Not worth the argument on a shopping forum. I don't have a pixel, so I honest don't care. If I was Google, I'd tell you to buy my overpriced accessories too. I think it's saying if you try to charge through a case without a built in ring, it could cause it to get hot.

Native PixelSnap Models (Pixel 10 / 11 Series): These phones feature built-in magnets matching Qi2/MagSafe standards. If you use a standard or thin case without a magnetic ring, it can weaken the hold. Using a Pixelsnap-compatible case or MagSafe-certified case ensures a strong magnetic snap and reliable 15W–25W wireless charging.

And here I thought the whole point of having a discussion board was to have a discussion. My orginal comment about it being I-phone only was kind of correct. I would hate someone with a goole phone buying this thinking they were going to get a wireless charger too work with their phone.

Nope. Any phone that has wireless charging and a magnetic case or ring adapter can use this charger. Have a great night.

Would anyone else like to chime in? This is a great price for a 10,000 MagSafe charger. There is a reason it's front page. Will it work with a google magsafe case or not?

In for one at $35, price is really solid for Qi2 with free shipping. Anyone running this on a 16 Pro Max yet? Curious how the magnet alignment and lip feel with a case on.
