This Delsey two piece polycarbonate spinner set stands out as a rare Costco price for the brand, with a lightweight build and a carry on plus checked bag combo. The set is also described as a clearance or outgoing model at some stores, and the slightly oversized carry on may still fit airport sizers while giving extra packing room. The main cautions are that the listed carry on dimensions appear to exceed standard airline limits, and there are reports of Delsey wheels breaking within months. A nearby Traveler's Choice bundle is repeatedly framed as the stronger value for about ten dollars more.
Common Questions (4)
No. There are at least two different $99 DELSEY polycarbonate 2-piece sets at Costco: this black set, Item 1872217, and the HELIUM EDGE 2.0 in dark gray, Item 1872077. A separate $190 Delsey set is a different model with vertical stripe molding.
The Traveler's Choice bundle is presented as the better value for about $10 more because it includes YKK zippers and compression cubes. The Delsey set is lighter, so it mainly appeals if lower weight and style matter more than the added accessories and zipper upgrade.
The advertised carry-on size is 22.75 x 15 x 9.75 inches including handles and wheels, which is slightly larger than the common 22 x 14 x 9 inch limit. Many airlines allow a small sizer buffer, but it may be tight on stricter carriers.
The wheels have reportedly broken off on multiple Delsey sets within months, so durability is a concern. Costco's return policy makes the purchase easier to risk if that happens.

Seems like a good deal.
Seems like a good deal.
That said, after consideration of all the factors, I strongly believe the Traveler's Choice 2 piece luggage, for only $10 more, in the link below, also from COSTCO, is a substantially better deal. Yes, substantially better.

.
That said, I once again direct you to the better deal in the link below. It uses the highly-reputed YKK zippers and not the average/mediocre DELSEY branded zippers. The Delsey luggage is lighter if you value lower weight and style, over the better quality Traveler's Choice luggage in the link below.

That said buying luggage from Costco is a smart move because you can always return it

Why do you think the most reputed Travelpro Maxlite 5 21" carry on has 23" height (with wheels)?
Heck, I'd be more inclined to buy this luggage because it is leveraging the buffer so you can pack more in the carry on.

For what it is worth, the design/style of the $190 one has vertical stripe molding while the two $99 sets have horizontal ones.
