This Delsey two piece polycarbonate spinner set stands out as a rare Costco price for the brand, with a lightweight build and a carry on plus checked bag combo. The set is also described as a clearance or outgoing model at some stores, and the slightly oversized carry on may still fit airport sizers while giving extra packing room. The main cautions are that the listed carry on dimensions appear to exceed standard airline limits, and there are reports of Delsey wheels breaking within months. A nearby Traveler's Choice bundle is repeatedly framed as the stronger value for about ten dollars more.
The Traveler's Choice alternative is positioned as higher quality because it uses YKK zippers and includes compression cubes.
The carry-on dimensions may exceed common airline limits, but airport sizers often include a one-inch grace buffer that can help with fit.
The $99 listing may be a clearance or outgoing model at select Costco stores, which can make the price more attainable for deal shoppers.
The thread identifies two separate $99 Delsey polycarbonate sets, which can help shoppers choose between black and HELIUM EDGE 2.0 dark gray options.
The advertised carry-on size of 22.75 x 15 x 9.75 inches may exceed standard US airline dimensions of 22 x 14 x 9 inches.
Wheel assemblies reportedly broke off within months across multiple Costco Delsey sets, which can create durability concerns for frequent travelers.
The $99 deal may be model-specific because the clearance pricing likely applies to an outgoing model at select stores.
The thread suggests the $99 sets may use different zipper quality than the Traveler's Choice option, which can matter if zipper performance is a priority.

Seems like a good deal.
Seems like a good deal.
That said, after consideration of all the factors, I strongly believe the Traveler's Choice 2 piece luggage, for only $10 more, in the link below, also from COSTCO, is a substantially better deal. Yes, substantially better.

.
That said, I once again direct you to the better deal in the link below. It uses the highly-reputed YKK zippers and not the average/mediocre DELSEY branded zippers. The Delsey luggage is lighter if you value lower weight and style, over the better quality Traveler's Choice luggage in the link below.

That said buying luggage from Costco is a smart move because you can always return it

Why do you think the most reputed Travelpro Maxlite 5 21" carry on has 23" height (with wheels)?
Heck, I'd be more inclined to buy this luggage because it is leveraging the buffer so you can pack more in the carry on.

As I've mentioned 100 times before, the better quality luggage for only $10 more is the one in the link below.

For what it is worth, the design/style of the $190 one has vertical stripe molding while the two $99 sets have horizontal ones.
