Agreed! I have a 18v Ryobi orbital buffer that works great that looks like I will keep using at this price!

I have one and say it was worth every penny. Yes the price is way higher than comparable orbital sanders. However, the sanding is much more efficient and aggressive than other orbital sanders. It's hard to explain but it seems to spin so much faster. It is more aimed towards professionals and auto shops. This has saved me soooo much time! I'm comparing this against a Ridgid 18v, Ryobi 18v, DeWalt plug in, and a flex 24v. I always reach for this one first! This does come in 2 different orbital throw lengths (3/16 vs 3/32). The 3/16 one is more aggressive and that's the one that I have. So keep that in mind when purchasing. If you hate sanding, this sander is for you.

I also own this. Some of the positives, 6" pad (more surface area) , paddle engagement (easier to start and stop), very low vibration compared to the m18 fuel and Dewalt 20v (very low hand fatigue from long use)
Cons
It eats through batteries

It is the best dancer I have ever used, and for all the festool snobs it is 100% comparable.
