I usually play steam link and dolphin emulating gamecube, I dont really have any complaints as this is a very competent machine.
It runs up to PS2 with some success with a few switch games. I have also enjoyed "Dave the Diver" among other games ported to the android playstore. The customization is pretty easy, and honestly the only tricky thing is setting up emulators via YouTube instructions.
Highly recommend. I carry mine around in my pocket, I also got a 3D printed grip that fits snug into the bottom. I've probably put hundreds of hours, and opened and closed mine a thousand times at the very least- and im still extremely happy with it.
Worth the cost if you're interested, but new tech could be potentially coming so you wouldnt be crazy for waiting. The next iteration will probably have better processing power and emulate higher than PS2, you can check out the Odin lineup if its something you want to pay more for.
