I bought one of these few days back. It's kind of impressive. I only have used the original labels up to now. I asked the seller if non RFID labels can be used and they didn't answer directly just that I can buy labels with RFID from them.

I also bought it and noticed that it was a "D30N" instead of the listed D30, which does enforce RFID tapes. The good thing is that it's a pretty dumb drm system, so you should just be able to save the RFID sticker from the original roll and use it to "authenticate" non-RFID rolls

Not sure what you mean about using 'non RFID' labels, since that would be the default unless it says specifically the labels are RFID.

Ok, the listing here does not say "D30N" anywhere I see. Does the product received say D30N though then?

The one I received from the previous deal posted does say D30N on the device, despite the listing not mentioning D30N or RFID anywhere.

I would highly recommend the D110 label maker over this one. This one does not have label edge detection so the first label will always come out uncentered horizontally and you'll have to print a second to get it centered. The D110 will detect the label edge and always print centered, plus the application feels much more polished.

My experience is that these the labels from these cheap printers fade very quickly.
