YMMV - open box, in-store only at Micro Center Santa Clara. There are 2 open-box units of this laptop at the store, but only ONE is $799.96 (open-box ID 16011); the second unit is $923.96. Both are graded "INCOMPLETE: AS IS" - please read the condition note before driving over.

What "Incomplete: AS IS" means here: Micro Center is saying accessories may be missing and the unit is sold as-is, with the remaining manufacturer warranty still applying. This model normally ships with an S Pen and a 65W USB-C charger in the box - check that both are actually included, test the touchscreen, hinge and battery, and confirm exactly what you are getting before you leave the store. In-store pickup only; shipping is not available, and new stock at this store is currently 0.

Street-price check (checked Nov 4): this configuration (NP960QHA-KG1US) has a Samsung MSRP of $1,599.99, which is also Micro Center's new price, and Newegg's marketplace listing for this exact model is $2,099.99 shipped. So the street price is about $1,599.99 at Samsung / Micro Center, and this open-box unit saves about $800 (about 50%) versus buying new. No shipped open-box or refurbished listing for this exact model showed up in my checks today (Newegg, Best Buy).

Alternative comparison: the upgraded version of this same laptop with a Core Ultra 7 258V and 32GB RAM starts around $1,899.99 at Newegg, so if you need 32GB this is not your machine - the 16GB LPDDR5X in this one is soldered and cannot be upgraded. If you want a brand-new unit instead, expect to pay about double this price. For a thin 16-inch AMOLED 2-in-1 at $800, though, nothing new comes close today.

Specs: Intel Core Ultra 7 256V (Lunar Lake, up to 4.8GHz), 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB SSD, 16" WQXGA+ AMOLED touchscreen (2880x1800), Intel Arc graphics, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 2x Thunderbolt 4, Windows 11 Home, 3.73 lbs, Gray. Micro Center SKU 756254, model NP960QHA-KG1US.
