work great at 1/4 the cost of ryobi or dewalt version. 2 batteries, extra blade, etc.... great deal.

Got mine last week. Have yet to put it to use but it seems like it'll do the job. Only con, a minor one mentioned previously, the pruner-battery interface could be smoother. The charger threw me, too, being used to the big base chargers. Had to RTFM to figure out the charger connects directly to the battery. And yeah, you'll cut your finger off!

Used this to prune a live oak tree a couple of weeks ago. I cut branches a decent bit larger than 1.4" by making multiple cuts around the branch. I hadn't even bothered to charge it, just what came on the battery from the factory and I was able to cut 50+ branches with lots of battery to spare. I can't imagine the chores I would have ahead of me if I were to use up both batteries back to back. It doesn't match any of my other tools battery platforms, but for the price and the battery life, I couldn't justify spending far more.

I just got the Dewalt version as it's on sale at Home Depot. Didn't realize Seesii had one of these also. I have several Seesii tools and as a result several Seesii batteries now. If I had it to do over I think I would go with this product and save $60. Dewalt is heavy. I didn't know what to expect before I got it. But now I know. Dewalt goes up to 1.5", but similarly a few cuts could knock out a bigger limb. This Seesii version looks a lot lighter. I get the feel like these would work best when needing to process a pile of tree limbs. These can easily take the place of long handled loppers. If it's a limb you wouldn't normally use long handled loppers on then this is likely a tool you wouldn't reach for as a handheld pruning shear would be easier and quicker to use.

There is one other difference I see at a glance. The Dewalt version has a safety feature where you have to move a lever at the bottom of the trigger to use. If you don't it won't operate. With this one there doesn't seem to be a similar feature. If you touch that trigger it looks like it will operate whether you intended it to or whether you accidentally bumped it.

I bought it with different combo and it's good. Some downsides are it has some starting sequence (and some tricky controls) so need to read manual. (Already forgot..) and it failed to cut almost max size branches but acceptable failure.

Are electric pruning shears meant for things to large for an electric hedge trimmer, but too small for a small electric saw?
