Community Reviews
Ocarina of Time on Switch 2 is drawing praise for its beautiful visual update, smooth gameplay, and faithful feel that still captures the original adventure. The reimagined world, peaceful music, and more straightforward structure make it an easy, relaxing change of pace for kids or casual play. The digital code has worked for multiple recipients, though some redemptions failed without a clear explanation. Costco gift cards can also cut the effective price to around $48, making the deal even stronger.
Common Questions (4)
Buying Nintendo eShop gift cards first can lower the effective price. Costco's $100 Nintendo gift cards for $80 bring the game down to about $48, and other reported routes include $60 in Nintendo gift cards for $51 or $10 eShop cards for $9.
The physical copy is described as a beautiful foil/holographic edition, while the game itself is praised for a very nice visual update and smooth gameplay. If you want the collectible look, the physical version is the one with the foil cover.
The code has worked for multiple people, including shared codes used by two coworkers, but it did not work for every recipient. The failure reason was not clear, so it may be worth confirming the recipient's Nintendo account setup before sharing.
No. The store physical copy is not the foil limited edition; the foil version was listed separately at $62.99.
