Ships and sold by Amazon, so they will be genuine.
Unfortunately, this is not always true. Amazon receives inventory from multiple sources and this is how they sometimes unknowingly get some knockoffs. That said, the vast majority of the time is legit except for the rare occasional unlucky "winner."

Amazon stopped co-mingling inventory. So this isn't much of a concern now. As long you are buying directly from Amazon, not third party. Amazon is an authorized Dewalt retailer. They would lose that status if they were caught sourcing tools from a third party.

I found that out the hard way with SD cards.. shipped and sold by Amazon but it failed verification and looked a lot different then my previous ones. Like color shades and quality of the print. Starter buying from a place I could pick them up. But in easy store hard drives from Best buy even that failed me once. So started asking the employee to open the package for me and I would hook it up right there in front of them to check the serial numbers. It's insane people are so scummy..

Oh didn't know that. Thanks for sharing as I've not bought certain things from them for years now due to being burned previously.

Yeah, it seems more common now for people to purchase and then return a fake item. I saw a post of someone getting an obvious fake battery from home depot. SD cards have always been bad with counterfeits. I would stay clear of Amazon warehouse deals. I've heard that a lot of the return items are return scams. So that would be the riskiest Amazon purchase now.
Why does the original price say $239 when Amazon states it as $170??
Difference between "list price" (what Slickdeals asks for when you post a deal) and Amazon's own "typical price" (an average price on only their site over the last X days, not considering all other stores).
