Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

With all the improvements Mali GPUs have received in the form of custom drivers built into things like ARMSX2, this can play most PS2 games at full resolution or better, something that wasn't possible even 6 months ago. Xbox is also greatly improved,

The T820 is a competent midrange CPU that can play everything up through 6th Gen consoles fine. (PS2, Xbox, GC) Important to note, some Mali GPU handhelds will crash HakuX. Custom drivers appear to be on the way, but no timetable on that.

Some people like the "humps" on this handheld, some do not. I nearly bought one earlier this year, but went with a 477v instead. The RG 406V is normally $140, so if you can nab one for around $100, it's a good deal.

I have the horizontal sister device, 406H - everything OrangeJulius said and more.
Love this device but wish it had HDMI port.
You can do HDMI out via USB-C with a cheap adapter, but the USB-C port is power or video, but not both simultaneously. Something to keep in mind if you want to use this like a docked consul with your TV.

Indeed - ARMSX2 has been great on these T820 devices. I have the RG476H (same processor). Nice interface compared to AetherSX2/NetherSX2; and receives frequent updates.

I didn't care for the lateral build of this handheld since I prefer mine to be horizontal in form factor. I actually bought the Anbernic RG406H while on sale for $140 back in late June of last year since I didn't expect Anbernic to release another handheld containing the T820 chip w/ a traditional D-Pad, and boy was I wrong. They eventually released the RG476H some time back in Aug or Sept of last year which really disappointed me since it came out of left field, having a way slicker design than the RG406H while containing a traditional D-Pad and had I waited a few more months, I wouldn't be having buyer's remorse.

My bad. It's only for the black transparent one, I chose wrong. Thank you!
