I also bought this kit. It comes with two RC-10 speakers. They are shipped in one box, though. So it's five speakers in four boxes:

2x RC-70 (2 boxes)
1x RC-LCR (1 box)
2x RC-10 (1 box)

I think that poster (brand new member, ONE post as of 7:03pm EST) is probably a competitor wanting to sabotage this deal. I have now seen a half dozen folks ordering various Energy speakers from Adorama and all reported receiving TWO bookshelf speakers in ONE box.

There is no way on god's green earth that Energy would sell entry level bookshelves in singles. NOBODY does that. The cheapest speakers sold in a single box are satellites in the $200-400 apiece range. Normal bookshelf speakers that come in a single box start around $600-800 apiece.

Enough of the goofy scaremongering!

I received this from the deal a couple weeks ago when it hit $750. It definitely came with two bookshelf speakers (RC-10). In fact, I think they were in the same box. I would reach out to Andorama; you're missing a speaker that is supposed to be there.

When I was looking at the bundle with the receiver, I emailed Adorama customer service twice, a few days apart. The second time, I specifically asked them to check with the manufacturer before getting back to me. Both times, the answer was the same: only ONE RC-10. Who would buy just a single bookshelf speaker? It makes no sense. If you're interested in this deal, you may want to ask the manufacturer yourself as well, to avoid unnecessary trouble.

Their phone staff are slave-driven, minimum wage workers. Why would they give a F if you bought from their crappy employer or not? They were just saying whatever to get you off the phone so they could squeeze in a bathroom break, most likely.

the language on the site does seem to support that its one. if you look at the bundle dropdown only the floor speaker says qty:2. then in the description they describe it as just "the speaker".. never refers to them as speakers in plural.. weird

Just got this deal. Can someone suggest a good Sub and AVR to go with this combo..Saw earlier posts someone suggesting 1000$ sub. I don't want to spend a fortune on it having spent 750$ on the full speaker set. I am ok with refurbished AVR and Sub just want to make it work well together without compromising on the quality of my home theater system I am putting up for my projector room. Thanks
