In no world is this 2.1 comp setup actually worth this much. The ONLY reason they raise the price this high is by wording it specifically for "computer" and "gaming" usage. Marketing verbage trigger words and price mark up are nothing new.

You could very easily find a solid pair of powered studio bookshelf speakers and pair them with an 8"-10" sub for this price or less. Shoot, Jamo has a slim profile 10" sub that shows up on Slickdeals frequently throughout the year that would easily put this one to shame.

I enjoy audio equipment but I also get the appeal of a one stop solution like this for a lot of people who aren't as interested in this kind of thing. At this price, it just feels lazy to me not to look at other solutions that will allow much better performance and versatility compared to this extremely basic setup being priced at a premium because of brand name recognition and marketing trigger words

The OG $100 Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 that we all know actually has better sound quality specs than this newer version. You're paying for USB-C, bluetooth, a charging port and some lighting integration features.

Your summary is excellent!👍👍 This speakers system is worth at most $100, anything more is just a IQ TAX.
