Shipping is $350 for me + you will need a truck with a lift gate so an additional $180. $530 shipping kills it for me.

When they introduced the V2 models they did a blow out on the remaining V1s
Meaning $800 for a Mono 15 and $600 for a Mono 12 AND it was free shipping ...
At those prices there were guys on AVS that bought subs they didnt even have a need for...
But oh well, this is 2026 and sadly that seems to mean a whole new pricing basis

Having set up both, hands down, I would go 12s!
Properly implemented, two subs are better than one.
Performance quality is better.
This is the size of a small frig & weighs much more.
Optimal placement will likely be a challenge.
CS is much better with RSL.
Current sale on dual 12s is less expensive($1416) which includes shipping.

Depends on preference in my opinion
As I said in the first post this is for the person that wants to feel the " pressurization" in movies like Aquaman or several of the Jurassic park movies and like that hard hitting subwoofer performance
Also a better warranty than the RSL units

As per the review from the published well know A/V professional this tested better than the SVS PB-16 and comes very close to the PB17 for close to 50% of the price of the PB17

Any sub that has this kind of performance will be large and heavy
Thats a given...the PB17 weighs about 170lbs
