bought a few. I have learned that small tape measures like this are more convenient to have vs a larger, heavier version for small around the house jobs.

6' is almost unusable for me. 8' might. Usually these cheaper ones crack easily if bent and can be off on measurements for my wood working projects. I'll stick to my Stanleys. I haven't had an issue with them yet, compared to other brands, like my Komelons, and I got them on a hot buy for $5 for a 25'. If strict measurements are a concern for you, don't get it. If you're still going to eyeball it a little, these might work out alright. Like, I'm ordering some $3 12' ones for work in our office, because people keep walking off with them and we constantly need one.

At this price you buy a dozen and sprinkle them around the house or work place. The time and energy saved [HUNTING] will be appreciated every time you use it!
