Video integrated Intel Arc B390 but an open box would be nice. I'm behind on the tech and my old refurb HP Omen i7 is tired.

that Acer - Nitro V – 16" WUXGA 165Hz Gaming Laptop - Intel Core 7 240H 2024 - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 – 16GB Memory – 512GB Storage - seems like a better deal for less https://www.bestbuy.com/product/a...JJ8V8HYVHP

There isn't a world where you should be paying more than $800 for a 5050 laptop. Also, this isn't really a gaming laptop.

It's this world, 2026, the one you're living in. So, it's better to keep your expectations real in accordance with the AI situation and its effect on prices, and it's only going to get worse from here in the next year (unfortunately).

Yes, correct now. Maybe a timezones/sale thing.

Except some of us buy dedicated NVIDIA GeForce for pushing media as a HTPC. My 6yo HP OMEN from with 16GB RAM is still holding up for now. I think I can wait for this tariff and AI thing to settle down.

I have the $400 Xbox Series X for some casual solo gaming. Just read AMD is planning some AMD FSR Upscaling for it. Like free eye candy!!
