We're getting lots of snow in my town. My drive in to work was fun. The steep hills make it difficult, and I was swerving pretty bad while others were just passing me. Everything is covered in snow, and my office won't close for anything.

Our NWS advisory is as follows:
Roads will become snow covered and hazardous during the peak evening commute.
Intervals of higher snowfall rates will cause poor visibility for motorists.
Hazardous weather,
Snow will develop over the region this afternoon and last through tonight. This will consist of a relatively quick 2 to 3 inch accumulation roughly between 3 pm and 9 pm.
Low pressure over southern Illinois during the morning will move to northeast Ohio by this evening. The strongest part of the system will move through the region during the peak evening driving period and result in hazardous conditions.
Total accumulation around 4 inches is expected for the entire system by sunrise Wednesday morning.
Precautionary/preparedness actions,
A winter weather advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

Snow starting this afternoon continues into the evening and night hours with 2-4" of accumulation.
It is already snowing here - earlier than they thought it would.
The white women on the plan tell me "it's no BIG deal" though.
