I bought city pass last year and here's what we did. You can use 2 days on your disney ticket and sell the third day on ebay or craigslist(sells like one day hopper). It would get you enough to cover the Zoo or Animal park.

The Wild Animal park has the new Lion exhibit with real lions behind glass, which may be worth it.

Thanks for the additional information.

I didn't have much time when I made the original post.
I was wondering if they had the child version.

I live in Orange County and my wife and I used to get Disney year passes until we got sick of going there and the prices went up dramatically with their 50 years crap anniversary. We also had one year memberships for the SD zoo and wild animal park, which we didn't take as much advantage of, but were probably better.

It was actually kind of hard to find a whole days worth of activity at the wild animal park--but there are quite a few trails you can hike if you don't have little kids. The Zoo is great for seeing tons of animals in a very contained area, plus the kids area is great.

If you're going to sell one or more of your Disney days, you could also consider going up to Six Flags or to Knott's, just for a change. Six flags is probably much more interesting for the teen age kids anyway.
