Offer:XFINITY™ Internet Performance Service for $19.99 per month for months 1-12 and $34.99 per month for months 13-24. 24 MONTH TERM CUSTOMER AGREEMENT Thank you for choosing Comcast! A description of the Offer ("Offer") you have ordered is described above. Comcast is not responsible for lost or misdirected agreements. 2) YOU AGREE THAT IF ANY SERVICE FOR THE OFFER ARE CANCELLED, DOWNGRADED OR DISCONNECTED FOR ANY REASON DURING THE 24 MONTH PERIOD (EXCEPT DURING THE FIRST 30 DAYS OF SERVICE ACTIVATION / INSTALLATION AS PROVIDED IN PARAGRAPH 3 BELOW), AN EARLY TERMINATION FEE OF UP TO $75 SHALL APPLY. DURING THE TERM OF THE AGREEMENT, THE EARLY TERMINATION FEE WILL BE REDUCED BY $7.50. EVERY THREE MONTHS, BEGINNING WITH THE SECOND MONTH AFTER THE INSTALLATION. IN ADDITION, IF SERVICE IS DOWNGRADED, COMCAST'S APPLICABLE CHARGES FOR SERVICE AND EQUIPMENT WITHOUT A 24 MONTH AGREEMENT WILL APPLY TO ANY REMAINING SERVICES. YOU ALSO AGREE THAT FOLLOWING THE 24 MONTH PERIOD, COMCAST'S APPLICABLE CHARGES FOR SERVICES AND EQUIPMENT WITHOUT A 24 MONTH TERM AGREEMENT SHALL APPLY UNLESS SERVICE IS CANCELLED BY CALLING 1-800-989-4651. 3) If during the term of this Agreement you cancel Service because you move your residence to a location within a Comcast serviceable area and you reconnect to comparable Services offered by Comcast (as determined by Comcast), within 30 days of disconnection, the amount of the early termination fee will be credited upon proof of installation. If Comcast does not offer comparable Services and you activate Comcast residential Cable, Comcast High-Speed Internet or Comcast Digital Voice service within 30 days of your Service disconnection, the amount of the early termination fee will be credited upon proof of installation. To receive the credit, you must contact Comcast by calling, 1-800-989-4651 within forty-five (45) days of Service disconnection. 4) Services under the Offer are for one outlet (except for Comcast Digital Voice.) Comcast's applicable charges for installation, equipment, and other services not specifically included in the Offer as described above (including without limitation, pay per view, and other non-recurring charges) are additional. The provisions of this Agreement supplement the general terms and conditions of the Comcast agreement for residential services for Cable Service, High- Speed Internet and Digital Voice (as amended in accordance with their terms). 5) Comcast may rearrange, delete, add to or otherwise change programming or features or offerings contained in the Services. After checking my address and researching promotions, I was offered Performance 20MB for 6 months at $19.99 and 6 additional months at $29.99 with no contract term. I was paying $24.95/mo for 6MB DSL before the promotional rate expired and it adjusted to $45/mo, so paying an average of $25/mo for 1 year for 20MB cable makes me happy. They wanted $7/mo cable modem rental fee, so I'm supplying my own for a lot less than that.

Called the number last week and got the $19.99 deal for 1 year. Rep said install would be Thursday between 4-6pm.
Waited 2 hours and no show. Called Comcast and was told the appointment was for Friday instead. I did not mishear, the rep screwed up. Rescheduled for Monday and serviced installed.
Called today to confirm the terms and price. What do you know its 1 year for $29.99 instead.
Called in to billing and explain the situation. Get transferred to "Loyalty Department". Explain again, wait 10 minutes, and he asks for the number I called and who I talked to. provided the number, waited another 10 minutes and then the guy tells me I need to talk to that department. Get transferred again, explain my situation, female rep sounds like she doesn't want to deal with it and disconnects.
Typical bait and switch as well as wonderful Comcast service. Will try again tomorrow but it'll be a long tough battle with lots of hour wasted. Should not have disconnected my AT&T service (I had a strong feeling this crap was going to happen).
So make sure you confirm everything Comcast before you get screwed. They probably charged me double for installation too that I have to fight with.

Cancelled account and called 3038720581 and signed up on wife's name.
$19.99 for 12 months. She also said if I signed the contract for 24 months the price would not change for 2 years.
I wanted to sign under wife name and cancelled my service. Now they are saying disconnection pending for 20 days!!!! She has to wait....is this new ?
