Since the 'voting' police are out in force it would appear - IS THERE ANYWHERE ON SLICKDEALS that you can politely ASK for a little bit of help in the voting area or is the simple question of asking not even allowed?

I know that in your instance the prize was small but it is a form of self promotion and we would get (and have gotten) people who want votes to win lots of money.

She was, but now one in particular is sending here messages that if I knew who she was, where she was - she wouldn't be talking very well right now.

And I'm only saying a SPECIFIC board so that if you don't want to be bothered with it, you just don't go to that board. Like I never go to the Gamers Lounge - that kind of deal.

The point is, the Gamers Lounge is not gaining anything by being there. There's always been a strict policy and the vast majority want no part of self-promo on here. Same as a selling and buying forum, don't want it here. We try to keep the boards spam free. If we let one person do it, then the whole site would be full of spammers wanting votes for everything.

We get you're upset, but it has been and always will be the rules here. It's not changing, thankfully.
