i was wondering how the $300 dollars back works? Can someone briefly explain? Do i fill out a form or something.
Steal from FW, here are the options to use your Ultimate Rewards
For holders of premium cards (yes, points from freedom CAN be transferred to these cards for free):
1. Sapphire Preferred, Ink Bold, Ink Plus: Transferring points to other travel rewards programs (up to $0.02/pt for United, $0.017/pt for Southwest, etc)
2. Sapphire Preferred: 20% discount for travel redemption
For everyone else:
1. Transfer/sell (YMMV and at your own risk) to holders of premium cards ($0.011-$0.015/pt). Rewards2Cash.com is one example that offers cash for rewards. Again practice at your own risk.
2. Discounted gift cards (10%-20%) (which is this thread about)
3. Redeem for cash (statement credit, deposit to checking, check) at value ($0.01/pt)
You won't get the points until after the billing cycle closes. That is, you charge the $500 on the card, and the next cycle you will get your points. I called about it and that's what they said. Sure enough, the points were loaded right at the beginning of the next billing cycle ( I think mine was March 15th).

ok, I was getting kinda worried. I just passed the $500 mark and wasn't seeing the 30k points in my point bank. Hopefully it shows up for me next week

How did you get $350? Is there some other promo going on?
I applied for the card yesterday, through phone. But did not receive the instant decision, they have given a 2 week time frame for decision.
Has anyone faced this? Did everyone got an instant approval or denial?
