Tadpole - girl bet me $5 I wouldn't do it, I was like 12. I let the tail hang out and wiggle a bit before I swallowed it. She vometed. I was very pleased.
Didn't taste bad and texture wasn't as slimy as oysters so... most people would think that's disgusting, though. Particularly in America.
Hmm... worst tasting thing I've ever had.... hard to say. I found myself in a situation once where I had to eat some things that were not top of my list. There was some kind of grub that was probably the worst tasting thing I've ever had - but at the same time it was very satisfying. (Better than being dead... your opinion on taste changes drastically when you don't eat for a day or two)
Thing I most regret having eaten... a friend of mine brought back some jerky from Indonesia. Let's just say he called the meat source 'torpedo'. There are lots of things with more yuck factor but that has the most pucker factor for me.
Yeah, I'm gonna go with the grub being the worst. Wasn't really a grub but it looked like a grub just 3-4x the size of the grubs we have around here.
