I wasn't sure where they are located (in case I do decide to make the drive) and here's what Wikipedia has to say about them:

Not to derail the funny pics thread more, but I have always wondered about the Westboro farks...

They go to protest funerals of good people. Military men and women. Victims of tragedies such as the Boston Marathon bombing. There are 5 of them (maybe a handful more). There are thousands of people that hate them... IF something were to happen... say the Westboro kids got beaten... BAD... it would be thousands of witnesses against a handful... Hell I bet even if the cops were there they report would read something like "Westboro guy walked up and punched giant man in the face and was about to do it a second time. Giant man reasonably defended him self and Westboro guy was taken to the hospital"

Why hasnt that happened?
