Puppy!

We picked this little guy up from a rescue on sunday. He's a lab mix. We're not quite sure of his breed. This is my first dog... Maggie's had many.
He's a happy little camper... unless we leave him alone. We are crate training him. He's not very fond of that at all. He'll grow out of it though. He came from a litter of 5, so up til sunday night, he had never spent a moment alone in his short life. It's kinda cool that we can go outside and he just follows us.
Anyhow, he needs a name, and we're still undecided.
I kinda like "Champ". We live right by Lake Champlain, which has it's own version of the Locke Ness monster called "Champ". Maybe Oscar. Maybe Joey. (Cats - Chloe+Zoe)
While I'm being a postwhore... why stop here? I had a fun weekend at Lake George NY... rented a pontoon boat and explored the lake. My MIL is looking to buy a pontoon boat so we thought we'd test drive one. (if anyone has advise on brands or anything.. I'm all ears since she's kinda put me on research)
Yesterday, I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled, and also 4 biopsies on these little white spots on my cheeks. I chew my cheeks a lot so they're pretty sure it's just scar tissue, but yea, my mouth is a bit of a mess right now. God bless good painkillers. Weeeeeeeee!

He reminds me of a reeses peanut butter cup
I have to schedule my wisdom teeth extraction
How did your mil handle the pontoon? Did you have to get it on and off a ramp? Those things are bulky yet fun once in the water.
Stop chewing the inside of your mouth. It's purpose is to be a cavern for food, not be food. *This has been a public service announcement of Public Moms Chastisement Inc.
Hope your white spots are nuffin to worry about.

Honestly... the extraction wasn't as bad as I thought. Still freaky though.

I grew up in NY and remember Lake George and Lake Champlain. Champ was never mentioned when i was a kid.
My brother still has a summer home on Gull Bay (?) Lake George

I'm getting the other 2 teeth pulled in less than 2 weeks.

MIL actually has a dock and a boat lift on the lake. Thing is.. it's a lift for traditional style boats... won't work for a pontoon. Kinda like the one below.
I'm betting she won't even use it unless I or someone else is there to operate it. (she says she will though)

Yah I'm gonna get IV sedation so I know it won't be bad but it won't exactly be fun either
