I know that there are a few of you.
I have a lot of time on my hands, so I'm attempting some new things. I'm actually using patterns now, where before I just knitted whatever came about. Big Grin

I'm beginning to realize that I only have small needles and I'm becoming a yarn snob.

I knitted a hat for my nephew, one for myself (no patterns), a baby-carrier (no pattern), and now I'm going to start working on some fingerless gloves.

Anyone else? Any deals on good yarn, needles, etc.?

Guess who ives right across the street from Hobby Lobby now????? Whee I dragged the SO in there the other day to get parts to fix HIS broken clock. Didin't have much wandering time but it looked realy cool. yes, I used a 40% off coupon.

For crochet the right side is the side which faces you as you work.

Yahoo! i finally finished my crocheted granny square afghan!

i started it a couple years ago and worked on it from time to time. this past winter i really got into it and made more than 50 huge squares!

here it is. it's sort of a blurry pic. my lovely butterfly chair is modeling it for you Whee

the size of it is about the size of a full sized bed. i made it the same size as these down throws i use which lay just on top (not going over the sides) of my full sized mattress.
