I revised it to in-store as I can't tell if shipping is free on-line. Maybe someone can weigh in on ways to get free shipping.

I would agree if that is the case. Looks like there is free shipping though, but not 100% sure. See update above. If paid shipping, then still a great deal in store if you have a store nearby.

Yes, I just saw that too. So I revised it to in-store. Maybe someone knows a way to get free shipping. Sometimes it takes a village. Thanks.

That's not really free shipping. Its up to $15 off shipping. Shipping for Kayak for me was $224, making it 209 for shipping after $15 off.

Shipping kills it, but i have several local stores

looks like free shipping is only a $15 dollar credit. Better to pick up at the store , buy a vest , paddles and racks and still have money in your pocket. That shipping charge if crazy high. It's not like it's a kayak or something like that.

I had one of these and I felt like a cork in the water, bobbing around, made me seasick. vomitvomitvomit Tracking was the worse I have ever seen, paddle once to the right and you are displaced 2 feet. Spend a little more and get something useful.

Reviews aren't good either. Says very flimsy material and you have to treat it like a bicycle, don't expect to sit still and not tip. I've been looking for I've that's fishing friendly, so this definitely won't work for me.

The reviews I've found seem fairly decent. Sure, it's a 'beginners' kayak but for the price it beats the hell out of most in its range. Even paddling.com had fine things to say about it. If you expect great tracking and white water strength materials then you need to spend triple this.

I'm just looking for something to fish out of mostly.

Most of the 63 reviews on Dick's are positive. I'm sure it's not the best out there, and I'm no avid enthusiast, but it's only $150. Seems good for beginners and light use, and good for many out there.

Great price for a 10 footer. If you need a Kayak with storage and/or able to hold 200+ lbs, this is as cheap as you are likely to find.
