No bueno.

It appears our weather picked it up too. -19 here last night (new record low) and it's still -1 according to my car right now. Cold

Fahrenheit. At -19 does it even much matter?

Its up to 30 this afternoon and I had to take my jacket off because 30 seems balmy now. Lol

Happy new year farkers.

Back to work today. DW has the day off and wanted me to take off as well, but I had some things I had to get done that I can't do away from the office.

That sucks. We have a similar situation here: I have a floating holiday today, DH is working. He has 3 weeks of vacation plus sick time and personal days but he's saving those for when the Baby comes. About 60 days now thank goodness.

So today I'm going to get a head start on my weekend chores and see if I can cross a few things off the list for the baby shower. And then nap. Definitely nap. I had planned on sleeping in but was wide awake at 7. Some sleep in that was.Mad

7:00 is sleeping late in our household. laugh out loud

I could use a floating holiday for today, but I'm trying to save those up for later in the year. Have some planned time off in Feb and July that I'm saving my leave for.

Right now I get up at 6:30 for work and leave at 7. I'm sure that will change when DD gets here, especially if I have to drop her off at daycare. DH gets up at 5:30.

We get up at 5:30 to have DD at daycare by 6:30 so we both can be at work by 7. It works for us, but something will have to change when DD goes to school in a few years.

There's the difference--DH starts at 7 but I don't start until 8. So we're thinking I'll be dropping her off and he'll be picking her up as he leaves work at 4 and I leave at 5. I wish I could switch to 7 to 4 as we work three blocks apart and could save some on gas (and he could drive laugh out loud). We used to when we both worked at the car dealer.

The bad thing then is you will need 2 car seats - or to get really really good at quickly installing one. laugh out loud

To start (up to 40 lbs) we registered for two bases and one seat that snaps in so we don't have to mess with it too much for now. Someone has already bought both off the registry too. Sly

That's what we started with. It lasted us a little over a year. Then we got an SD on two seats. One we're still using, the other was replaced after the accident.
